This piece was composed in response to a painting titled, “Lake George” by Edward Steichen. The colors in the art work inspired my chord choices. The piece was composed as part of a Minnesota State Arts Board grant, and the piece can be viewed at the Minneapolis Art Institute’s website, artsmia.org. The performer is Bob Adney.
